Activities of Youth for Heritage Foundation

Youth for Heritage Foundation actively participates in various activities.

Heritage Walks

Youth for Heritage conducts active heritage walks in and around Delhi under the banner of its flagship initiatives Delhi Heritage Photography Club and Heritage Hunters. Since 2010, these initiatives educated thousands of citizens and turned them into heritage lovers. With regular events, we keep educating people about the rich heritage treasure we are living with.

Heritage Durbars

Heritage Durbar is a unique initiative to bring heritage lovers closer to Heritage Experts, who have done tremendous work in the field of History and Heritage in past several years. We conduct special sessions at monuments and auditoriums, where historians, archaeologists, acamadecians and heritage activists meet groups of people and educate them about their heritage.

Heritage Clubs

Youth for Heritage Foundation is on a mission to sow the seed of love for heritage from the root level. To acheive this target, YfH started establishing Heritage Clubs at schools, colleges and various other institutions. These heritage clubs meet time to time and conduction awareness drives and various other activities to promote heritage.

Monument Task Force

It is easy to critisize government bodies for not protecting monuments from drug addicts and anti social elements, but it is difficult to take up the responsibility on your own shoulders. Youth For Heritage Foundation, with its commitment towards Heritage Protection has setup Monument Task Force. Volunteers of this task force visit monuments frequently and keep a close watch on anti social activities in and around the site, which can harm the structure. Such acts are then reported to local law agencies and ASI.

Exhibitions & Carnivals

In association with Delhi Heritage Photography Club, YfH conducts Photography exhibitions time to time. More details about the exhibition can be found at www.dhpc.in/exhibitions. We are preparing for a mega carnival, which will be first of its kind with a mix of various heritage related activities.
