About the Event

Deeg was established by Raja Badan and extended by Raja Surajmal. The beautiful Palace and majestic fort hides numerous stories to tell. The palace lies ignored after Bharatpur became popular among tourists, though it is still well maintained by authorities. The rooms are still well decorated and maintained with all decorations Jats had.

Travel & Food

We shall start from West Delhi and travel via Janakpuri -> Rajouri Garden -> Mayapuri -> Dhaula Kuan -> AIIMS ->Ashram -> Badarpur -> Faridabad -> Kosi Kalan -> Deeg. Participants can hop on-off anywhere on this route. We will start around 6am and shall be back by 9pm.
We will travel via a Tempo Traveler. Deeg does not have any Food Joint. The only option is a small food court at the local Bus Depot, where two local Dhabas serve delicious local spicy cuisine. We will also carry snacks and water for the route.
